Project Overview
The Wexford Camogie App is a mobile-first platform designed to help players, supporters, and the local community stay connected with fixtures, results, and club updates across Wexford camogie. The goal of the project was to create a simple, accessible, and engaging experience that makes it easy to follow both county and club-level activity in one place.
The app focuses on clarity, speed, and ease of use, ensuring users can quickly check match schedules, receive updates, and stay informed without unnecessary complexity. The design also reflects strong local identity, supporting engagement within the camogie community.
The final product was designed in Figma and built using Glide, allowing rapid development of a functional, data-driven mobile application.
My Role
My Role I was responsible for the end-to-end design and development of the application, including: User research and persona development to understand target users (players, supporters, and young athletes) UX/UI design of the full app in Figma Creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes Designing a clean and intuitive interface focused on ease of navigation and accessibility Building the functional app using Glide, including data structure setup and screen implementation Iterating the design based on usability and user experience considerations
