WexfordEducateTogether.ie is a responsive school website designed to provide clear, accessible, and up-to-date information for parents, students, and staff. The aim of the project was to improve communication, enhance usability, and create a modern digital presence that reflects the values of the school community. The website focuses on simplicity, clarity, and ease of navigation, ensuring users can quickly find key information such as school updates, admissions, policies, and contact details. The design also prioritises accessibility and mobile responsiveness to support all users. The project was first designed in Figma and then developed using WordPress, resulting in a fully functional and easy-to-manage website for ongoing updates.
UX/UI Design • Wireframing • Visual Design • WordPress Development • Front-End Implementation
Wexford Educate Together website was designed in Figma and developed using WordPress through a structured UX and build process. I began by researching user needs and reviewing the existing site to identify areas for improvement, focusing on clarity, navigation, and accessibility for parents, students, and staff. I then created wireframes and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma, developing a clean and consistent layout with a mobile-first approach. After refining the design through iteration and usability considerations, I translated the final designs into a fully responsive WordPress website, using themes and plugins to accurately match the UI and ensure easy content management. The final result is a user-friendly, accessible, and maintainable website that improves how the school communicates with its community.
